Golden Technologies Serves Thanksgiving Lunch to over 400 Employees
Old Forge, PA – November 18, 2016
Golden Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer Richard Golden and his wife Christine Golden are honored to provide Thanksgiving dinner to over 400 Golden employees within four buildings on Friday, November 18 during the company’s lunchtime.
This is a time honored tradition that began over fifteen years ago at Golden. Rich stated, “We celebrate Thanksgiving with the entire company as a token of appreciation for all that our employees do for Golden throughout the year.” What better way to show gratitude than to personally invite every employee to a Thanksgiving dinner – and this is no small meal. On Friday, over 200 pounds of potatoes, 400 pounds of turkey, 110 pounds of vegetables, 200 pounds of stuffing, 40 pounds of coleslaw, seven gallons of gravy, and 15 loaves of bread will be served to the Golden employees. “No other company does anything close to this to celebrate Thanksgiving,” said Amie Rosiak, Literature Coordinate at Golden Technologies. “I’ve been at Golden for over 16 years, and you’d have to see it to believe it. This Thanksgiving dinner is a testimony to the gratitude that Rich feels toward Golden employees.”
Lynn Jumper, Customer Service Lead at Golden Technologies echoed Amie’s sentiments. “When I re-entered the workforce five years ago, I never thought that I would be working for such an employer that regards his employees as family! The Golden Family never cease to amaze me. Every year at this time, Golden makes sure that each and every member of the Golden Team is treated to a Thanksgiving Dinner at each four Golden locations the week before Thanksgiving. To be honest, it is very hard to put into words how I feel about working for a company like Golden… What an honor.”
